Jennifer Love Hewitt was named "Love"
after one of her mother's college friends who was beautiful had
the name Love. Her mother told her friend that if ever she had a
daughter, she would call her Love and keeping her word, she named
her first daughter "Love". She is a beautiful young woman
with not only movies and TV appearances to her credit, but she actually
has three CD's to her name. Her first CD, "Love Songs"
was released only in Japan in 1992. Loves second album "Let's
Go Bang" was completed just prior to her being cast on "Party
of Five" and her latest album, "Jennifer Love Hewitt"
was released in December of ‘96.
Born in Waco, Texas on the 21st
of February 1979, and raised in nearby Killeen, the brown eyed Jennifer
has had show business in her blood since an early age. At the age
of nine, she became a member of the Texas Show Team accompanying
the troupe on a special goodwill performance tour of Russia. At
the age of ten, after moving to Los Angeles, she began appearing
in TV commercials later appearing as a series regular on "McKenna",
"The Byrds of Paradise", "Shaky Ground" and
"Kids Incorporated." before getting her big break being
cast as Sarah Reeves, Bailey’s girlfriend in drama series Party
of Five. Since her big break in Party of Five, Jennifer has had
many offers to star in feature films and while just into her twenties
some of her feature films include "I Know What You did Last
Summer", "Telling You", "House Arrest",
"Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit" and the sequel to IKWYDLS,
"I Still Know What You Did Last Summer".
Jennifer currently lives in Los
Angeles with her mother and her two cats Haylie and Don Juan DeMarco.
She still plans to finish her education and study journalism at
college with the hope of becoming a writer but with her ever growing
success and fame, it doesn't look like she'll need another career
choice any time real soon. Beautiful, young Jennifer Love Hewitt
is one of the up and coming faces we will be seeing a lot of in
the next few years. She is currently expanding her movie career
with great success so far after an equally successful run on television.
